BUMPER REMOVAL DIY.
Disclaimer. This is not the official factory procedure. Just my personal DIY. I am not liable for any damage this might cause. Just sharing these steps enthusiastically hoping to help do-it-yourselfers.

Remove plastic liner that covers the hood latch mechanism to reveal these three torx screws. Use T-30.

Remove the Headlights. removal procedure is in your owner's manual.

Remove four wheel well liner fasteners. Seperate these from the rest of the screws because these are different size from the bumper screws. Torx T-25.

Also loosen the inboard 10mm socket plastic nut of the top wheel well liner, This will facilitate easier removal of the bottome liner.

The bumper buttom torx screws are all T-30.

These one is hiden behind the wheel well liner. Torx T-25. This is the only one behind the liner.(Used to be 3 on the 996 & 993). DONOT forget this on your reassembly. Insure you do these first (on reassembly before installing the wheel well liner).

I think this is the trickiest to remove. These clips(one on each side) can only be see if you remove the head lights. They are inside the headlight cavity, inboard. They lock the bumper cover onto the car. You have to pull these clips from the trunk/bonnet. Pull inboard. See next pictures.

Pull this clip towards the middle(inboard) of the car.
