***1ST AND MOST IMPORTANT STEP***
REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION AND KEEP IT AWAY FROM THE CAR FOR THE DURATION OF THE WHOLE INSTALLATION. THIS WILL PREVENT THE SEAT BELT RESTRAINT FAIL LIGHT FROM GETTING TRIGGERED. I myself, as an extra precaution, disconnected the battery, JUST ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR RADIO CODE.

4. Using the E12 torx socket, remove mounting bolts. Ensure that the socket is all the way onto the bolt head stripping of the head might occur due to the high torque required to remove or install these hi-torque bolts.

I found it easier to tilt the seats towards the back with their back rest folded. I used a piece of wood to hold them in position while I work on the electrical harnesses.

Take a closer look between the harness connector and the seat bottom, to release the harness connector from the bottom of the seat, lightly push the two pins I marked with arrows towards each other, then slide the whole connector towards the aft of the seat.
