View of the front seat belt mounting point where the front legs of the roll bar attach. To the right of the bolt is the portion of the plastic rocker panel that is crushed when the roll bar's rear legs are rotated into position. Keep in mind that once the bar is bolted in place and the seat's are installed, you will need to unbolt the front roll bar leg in order to thread the seat belt through the GT3 seat back area and then thread the bolt through the seat belt mounting ring prior to re-attaching the roll bar leg. After all the effort expended getting the bar bolted in the first place, this can be somewhat disconcerting. Have know fear, it's easier since the rocker panel has already been crushed to accomodate the bar. If you have stock seats, you can attached the seat belt ring at the begining of the roll bar install.

Using a socket to remove the 7/16" style universal seat belt mounting bolt. It may help to use a longer bolt than stock, say a 3" 7/16" Fine Thread Grade 8 bolt instead of the bolts that come with the bar. A 3" is slightly longer and makes it easier to get the bolt to start threading into the chassis.***Note: I recommend disconnecting the battery negative cable to avoid any possiblity of deploying the airbags during the time the roll bar is crushing the plastic rocker panel during installation. There are wires applying to that system running through the rocker panel from what I understand.***

This picture is somewhat misleading. This is the bar rotated into place without the front mounting points attached. You can squeeze the bar past the seat belt height adjuster. This did not work for me because I was unable to line up the rear mount points since the rocker panel was not crushed yet. You need to have the front legs mounted to do that. If the front legs are mounted, there is not enough room to rotate the bar past the seat belt height adjuster or the clothes hook. They will have to be removed, at least for the GT3.

This is a view of the upper seat belt mount with the height adjuster button/cap removed. You can use a flat head screw driver to pry the cap off of the bolt. There is a small plastic friction pin on the cap that inserts into the middle of the bolt head where the hole is. After the pin is popped out from the bolt, the upper portion of the cap is attached by two vertical plastic clips on each side. Work it carefully and it will pop off. You now have enough clearence to rotate the bar past this point.

The clothes hook also blocks the bar from being rotated back into place. This will need to be removed.

I used a plastic spatula to pry the hook out and up to remove. Be careful not to scratch the roof liner molding. Once the bar has been rotated past this point, the hook simply snaps back into place.

View of rear leg bolted in using the bolt spacer provided. I guess the spacer can be between the chassis and the bar or the bolt head and the bar. I chose the bolt head and the bar, since I wanted the bar leg flush mounted to the chassis.

View of the front leg bolted in with the seat belt mount point that must be threaded through the bolt once the GT3 seats have been installed. As mentioned before, the seat belt can be bolted down when you first bolt in the roll bar leg if you are using stock seats.
