I chose to mount my V1 on the Drivers side. You can mount it on either side and running the wires is the same. Also, some people have chosen to tap into the sunroof power, that is another option and if you surf the Forums on V1 Install I'm sure you can find instructions on that install

I just tucked the wire by hand along the roof line and down the side pillar (Green Line)

Then I tucked the wire along the side of the dash. This is a tight fit and I used a flathead screwdriver to tuck the wire. Do it slowly and carefully. One slip and you could scratch something.

The finally along the side and bottom of the dash. In the Center console there is an unused Cell Phone connector plug. Just pull the side panels of th center console out and you'll see the plug. The wiring is as follows...
Brown = Ground
Red / Green = Unswitched 12 volts
Green / Black = Switched 12 volts
Yellow / Black = Telephone Mute
